What can I bring into the stadium?
The Pfield has some policies in place restricting what can be brought inside the stadium and on PFISD property. To help make sure we follow these, we are implementing a clear bag policy, so leave your purses and bags at home. Complementary clear bags will be available – look for volunteers handing them out in the parking lot. No alcohol, tobacco products, pets, or fireworks are allowed on PFISD grounds including the parking lot. No umbrellas inside the stadium.
When will Pfirecracker Pfestival be back at the lake?
With Weiss Lane and Pflugerville Parkway under construction, the Pfirecracker Pfestival moved to the Pfield to accommodate larger crowds, ease transportation to and from the event and expand the number of food trucks and fun activities. Having the festival at the Pfield is not only safer, but it brings the fireworks show to the middle of town for more people to enjoy. As our city continues to grow and improvements are finished at Lake Pflugerville Park and on surrounding roads, we will keep the lake in mind, but for now we have outgrown it. We encourage you to enjoy July 4th at Lake Pflugerville or one of our pools, and then join us at the Pfield for our evening celebration.
What is there to do besides watch fireworks?
There are plenty of pfamily pfriendly activities before the fireworks. The Kid’s Area with inflatables, music and face painting opens at 5 p.m. So do our 17 food trucks, with something for everyone. From 6:30 p.m., enjoy live music from Suede, followed by our Independence Day program you will not want to miss. And it’s all free!
